Vanaand sit alleenwees akkuut in my lyf vas
en dit druk teen my hart se kamers vir uitkom,
maar enkel-mens bly ek vreemd onaangetas,
dog steeds belas, deur elke mens ver-stom.
My woorde reik nie uit, maar soek na binne
ewig tastend na gevoelens wat mense raak,
na gedagtes wat waarde sal gee aan sinne,
maar ek tas verniet want emosies lê braak.
